Cameroon Oncology Center is a 5000 square meter facility dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer located just outside of Douala at the Bekoko Junction. The oncology center houses Cameroon first medical computerized medical linear accelerator and a computerized treatment planning system. Treatment on the medical linear accelerator includes 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy and dynamic arc therapy. The Varian 21EX linear accelerator the ability to provide sophisticated treatment for up to 70 patients daily utilizing two photon energy beams: 6 MV and 18 MV x-rays and five electron beams (6 MeV, 9 MeV, 12 MeV, 15 MeV, and 18 MeV). The center has a Hitachi CT simulator and Radiation Treatment Planning would be performed on the Panthar Radiation Treatment Planning System manufactured by USA based Powress Inc. Cameroon Oncology Center offers current, state of the art radiation therapy treatments, provided by a team of caring and knowledgeable experts.

The center also houses a modern medical oncology suite with up to 10 infusion stations for chemotherapy administration and imaging center consisting of an MRI (to be installed later), CT scanner, Mammography unit, etc. (see clinical services for more details). .
